Spokane business owner brings the sunshine back

SPOKANE -- As summer comes to a close things are heating up for the owner of a local Spokane business that brings the 'sun' inside your home.
Tan Envy owner Jenn Kofmehl runs the only mobile spray tan company in Washington state.
"This time of year lots of students are heading back to college and want to look good and older people just want to look good," said Jenn Kofmehl.

Kofmehl and her tanning equipment can go anywhere in Eastern Washington. She opened her mobile spray tan business several months ago after keeing an ad for franchise opportunities.

"People love that I can come out in the comfort of their own home," said Kofmehl.

Being sparyed at home is easier than you may think. All Kofmehl needs is an power outlet.
She provides the spray gun, tanning solution and even a pop up tent she can put anywhere in your home.
Kofmehl says she's even gone to her client's work to spray them.
"Yeah, I've sprayed in some strange places, but that's the beauty of the Tan Envy is that we're mobile," Kofmehl said.

Kofmehl says her biggest customers are woman who want to cover cellulite or varicose veins.
"Our customers just love the difference it makes, it's absolutely amazing," Kofmehl said.

She's excited about her future since her business is starting to pick up and she just landed
an agreement with Master Touch Salon in the Valley to spray tan in the shop.
"We're really excited about the partnership and think it will really be a good thing for both of us," Kofmehl said.

Besides the obvious health benefits of not tanning in the sun Kofmehl says it makes you feel and look great.
"It's really about making you look and feel better and that's what I love about this job, people love looking great," Kofmehl said.
